artesalon.com artesalon.com Joe Artale, owner of Arté Salon in Nolita, needed to update his old site, which was in Flash and didn't work on phones or ipads. The salon also wanted to let clients easily book an appointment online.

We recreated the site's Flash animation effects using standards-compliant jQuery code, to function on smartphones and tablets, and built in a customized booking widget. The new site is a better resource for both Joe and Arté Salon's clients!

noramise.org noramise.org Rosedanie Cadet founded Helping Hands Noramise as a response to the urgent need for sustainable food production and jobs in Haiti. After the earthquake, she quickly mobilized a network of volunteers.

SugarHill Works was happy to help out by donating a website and continuing web support, enabling Noramise to spread the word about their projects and to immediately accept donations online.

His wife Laura chose to honor his memory by creating a charitable foundation to support cancer research, promote awareness and give support for people affected by mesothelioma.

We designed and built a memorial site incorporating family photos along with information and resources about mesothelioma, and links for people wishing to make a donation in honor of Keith and his family.

brooklynshaman.com brooklynshaman.com Steve, the Brooklyn Shaman, had a vision for a site that reflected his holistic worldview with an organic, non-linear design. He also wanted to include images of animals that carry significance in shamanism.

We created custom artwork of each animal, and pushed the limits of HTML code to arrange the layout into a circular shape.
